Xenoecology - Create-a-Planet
with Peter Lucker
Ever wonder what life might be like on another planet? What color is the ocean? How might its continents form? What kind of life might flourish there? In this camp for Space Week, upper elemnetary students will learn how planets are formed, as well as about solar systems, astronomy, and the evolution of life. They will then apply what they learn about speculative xenobiology/xenoecology to create their own papier-mâché globe modeling their own custom planet! This class is priced to include a $10 materials fee.

In this special "Technology Week" iteration of our Tinker Lab series, younger elementary students in this camp will engage with some of our most popular Tinker Lab modules along with some additional "tech" projects especially geared for our youngest makers. These forays will include light dabbling in some of our older student programs such as Scratch and Electornics, just to pique their interest!
