STEAM with Magic Treehouse- Club
with Aubrey Beckham
Using the Magic Tree House series, children in grades K-2 will explore science as seen through the eyes of Jack and Annie as they travel through the books that they find. In this 12 week club, they will learn the answers to questions like: What causes seasons? Why are snowflakes white? How is the soil different where it never gets warm? What causes floods, and how can they both help and harm the land? How do inventors use engineering to solve problems, and what makes a structure strong enough to create the Eiffel Tower? Use math to solve puzzles and uncover clues, and travel through books and time with Jack and Annie!
