Art with Code
with Gwyer Sinclair
In this 8-week course, teenage and adult students will meet two hours a week to create art with Processing. Processing is a flexible software sketchbook and language for learning how to code within the context of the visual arts. Since 2001, Processing has promoted software literacy within the visual arts and visual literacy within technology; there are tens of thousands of students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists who use Processing for learning and prototyping. For more information, see processing.org
About the Instructor: Gwyer Sinclair is a visual artist and engineer, using the power of technology to augment his creations. Even at its most surreal and psychedelic, art has an underlying order. Gwyer does his traditional work in ink, and his animation and computer graphics work in code.
