AMT Boot Camp

In this afternoon teen program, students will learn the basics of our AMT (Advanced Manufacturing Technology) workshop. They will learn the basics of relvant software in our Design Studio, and then use our equipment to cut, 3-D print, and finish their creations. Students who complete this camp qualify to purchase their own independent AMT membership if they choose, allowing them to reserve their own machine time independent from family memberships. This program is priced to include a $10 materials fee.  Minimum age for this program is 12.

Animal Life Drawing

In this intensive program for teens, young aritsts will learn about animal anatomy, proportion, motion, gesture drawing, and more, while exploring animal drawing techniques. Students will largely work from animal videos to simulate working from life. Previous drawing experience is required. 

Architecture with Minecraft

In this camp, upper elementary/middle students are introduced to the basics of architecture! Fun resources such as LEGO and Minecraft are used to learn how to bring more life to architectural creations by considering space, flow, rhythm, scale, and more!

Art Boot Camp

Upper elementary art students will prove their creative mettle in this art 'boot camp'! Each day of this camp will explore the basics of a different art form; drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and fiber arts. This is the perfect camp for the enthusiastic young artist interested in learning more about unexplored art forms. This camp is priced to include a $10 materials fee.

Art Exploratory Wheel

In this camp, lower elementary artists will explore all types of different art forms. Each day of camp, our youngest artists will learn about drawing, painting, collage, mosaics, and fiber arts respectively, with accessible projects meant just for them! This camp is perfect for young children who like to dabble and dry new things. This class is priced to include a $10 materials fee.

Digital Illustration

Utilizing a drawing tablet, middle and high school campers will learn to create digital raster or vector artwork in different digital programs like Krita, FireAlpaca, and Inkscape. Basic traditional drawing proficiency and experience is highly recommended

Dungeons & Dragons

In this program, veteran Dungeons Masters will lead middle and high school campers through a one-week Dungeons & Dragons game! Learn the ins-and-outs of the most iconic tabletop roleplaying game, as featured in Stranger Things. Participants will create a character, write a background story, learn the rules of the game, and embark on an adventure utilizing cooperative problem-solving skills. Everything you need will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own dice, character sketches, or miniatures! By the end of this camp, students will know how to run their own Dungeons & Dragons group with friends, including the use of modern game tools such as 5th edition rules and character builder apps.

Electronics

In this upper elementary camp, kids receive introductory lessons in electronics with activities such as making a chemical battery, lighting up an LED, playing with snap circuits, and even making and taking home their own Operation-style electronic game!
