Please join us for our free monthly workshop orientation on the first Thing Thursday of the month! Each month members and prospective members will have the opportunity to get checked off on basic safety training and observe demonstrations of our equipment.

Registration is not required.

FREE General Repair Café! For this Thing Thursday, everyone is invited to bring their broken things, such as clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, appliances, toys, etc., to our community maker space. We will have volunteers and team members on hand with various skills to assist guests with their repairs to the best of their ability. Skilled volunteers interested in assisting with repairs may contact Shalin at shalinmody@hotmail.com to express interest in getting involved.

Intro to Adobe Premier Pro Workshop

This workshop will focus on getting acquainted with the features and shortcuts of the industry-standard video-editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, as well essential lessons and theories in film editing.

Students will learn how to edit cohesive stories, polish audio, color correct, color grade, and implement motion graphics all inside of Premiere Pro.

Woodworking Workshop Series

In this three-part workshop series, attendees will learn the fundamentals of shop safety, tool use, and woodwork project design. This project-based course is designed with the beginner or intermediate woodworker in mind and is appropriate for high school through adults.

Intro to Metal CNC Machining

Machining is one of the most popular forms of manufacturing today, and a base understanding of its principals can help refine and improve designs.   

This six week course will cover the fundamentals of working with CNC mills and lathes as well as how to use computer aided machining (CAM) to control them.  Over the course of this class, students will learn how to construct simple parts in SolidWorks, convert the drawings into a CAM file, and use a machine to produce the part.
