Laser Cutting with Vector Graphics
with Ari Loucks
This class provides a basic introduction to 2D design using vector graphics. Adult and older teen students will learn the basics of Inkscape, its tools, and how to design and prepare files for use on our equipment, such as our laser cutters or plotter cutters.
Inkscape is a free and open-source vector graphics editor; it can be used to create or edit vector graphics such as illustrations, diagrams, line arts, charts, logos and complex paintings. Inkscape's primary vector graphics format is Scalable Vector Graphics; however, many other formats can be imported and exported.
No class February 15th.
